What's Live

Terms of Use

Effective 22 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Han Yazılım Bilişim Hizmetleri for using What's Live — the stream directory at whatslive.today, where creators list a stream and viewers browse what is live today.

They are written to be read. Where a clause describes how the service behaves, it describes what the software actually does. The thing most worth knowing before anything else: it is free, and position cannot be bought. The order follows the streams, not anybody's money.

Most creators listing here are in the United States or Europe, so these terms carry what those readers need — a copyright complaints procedure, a US dispute-resolution path with a class-action waiver you can opt out of within 30 days, and consumer protections for the EEA and the UK that these terms cannot override.

Who we are, and who these terms bind

What's Live is a service operated by Han Yazılım Bilişim Hizmetleri, a company registered in Türkiye at Çınar Mh, Yeşiltepe Sk, No 3, Maltepe, İstanbul, Türkiye. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company; “What's Live” means the service at whatslive.today and everything on it.

“You” means whoever is using it, in either of the two roles the service has:

  • A viewer — anyone browsing the directory. No account is needed, and browsing is free.
  • A creator — someone with an account, who lists a stream and pays for a placement.

Using What's Live at all means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service. If you are using it for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that organisation.

What the service is

What's Live is a directory of live and upcoming streams that are hosted somewhere else. Creators tell us about a stream on YouTube, Twitch, Kick, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Rumble or another supported platform, and we list it for the day it is scheduled for. Viewers browse that list and click through to watch on the platform the stream is actually on.

We do not host, transmit, record, transcode or store anybody's video. There is no player on What's Live. What we hold about a listing is what the creator gave us — a link, a title, an optional description, an optional thumbnail image, a category and a scheduled start time — and what our own counters record about it.

Position on the board is not awarded, and not sold. Listings are ordered by whether the stream is live and how soon it starts, with clicks and then listing order settling the rest. It is not an editorial selection, a recommendation, a measurement of quality, or an endorsement of any stream or creator — and it is not something a creator can pay to change.

Accounts

A creator account needs an email address and a password. That is the only way to sign in: we do not offer social sign-in, and no link we send — including a password reset — will ever leave you signed in to your account. A reset link lets you set a new password and nothing else.

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your password to yourself;
  • everything done through your account;
  • telling us promptly at hello@whatslive.today if you think somebody else has access to it.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 18 to buy a placement. One person or organisation, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Your username is public. It is checked automatically before it is published — see Your content, and what we check.

Listings and how position works

The service is free to use. Listing a stream costs nothing, there is no paid tier, and position on the board cannot be bought.

The mechanics are set out in full on the Rules page, which forms part of these terms. In summary, and as the service currently operates:

  • Listings are ordered by whether the stream is live, then by how soon it starts, then by clicks, then by which was listed first.
  • One creator may hold a limited number of listings for any one day. Cancelled and finished listings do not count toward it.
  • A listing runs from publication until one hour after the stream's scheduled start time, and belongs to a single day in the creator's own time zone.
  • A listing stays editable until shortly after the start time it was first given. After that it can be withdrawn but not changed.

We may change these figures as the service develops. A change never applies retroactively to a listing already on the board.

A listing is not a promise of views, clicks, viewers, followers, revenue or any other outcome, and we do not guarantee that any particular number of people will see one.

Creator+ and payment

Listing a stream is free and always has been. What's Live also offers an optional paid plan called Creator+, which gives a creator more capacity and more of their own data — scheduling further ahead, more listings a day, one listing announcing several platforms, and a longer analytics history. It does not buy position on the board, and nothing sold ever will.

What it costs and when you are charged

Creator+ is $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. The price you see before you pay is the price you pay; tax is shown separately at the checkout, and whether it is added on top or already included depends on where you are. It renews automatically at the same price and the same interval until you cancel, and we do not need to ask you again each time.

The free trial

A new subscriber may be offered a 7-day free trial. We take your payment details when you start it, and nothing is charged during those seven days. When they end, the subscription begins and your first payment is taken automatically. Cancel before the seventh day and you are not charged at all. The trial is available once per account.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, yourself, in two clicks. Sign in and go to Settings → Plan and invoices, then press Cancel plan. You do not need to email us, telephone anybody, or give a reason, and there is nothing to negotiate. Deleting your account cancels it too.

Cancelling stops the renewal. Your plan stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then becomes a free account again — we do not cut it short and we do not claw anything back. Your listings, your analytics and your creator page all stay where they are.

Refunds

Because cancelling leaves you with the time you paid for, a part-used period is not normally refunded. If you were charged in error, charged after cancelling, or something on our side stopped the plan working, write to hello@whatslive.today and we will put it right. Nothing here affects a refund or cancellation right you have under the law where you live.

Who takes the payment

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the merchant of record and therefore as the seller for the transaction. Paddle appears on your statement, issues your invoice, and handles payment and tax enquiries. We never see or hold your full card number. Your invoices are on the Plan and invoices page whenever you want them, including after you cancel.

Changes to the price

If we change what Creator+ costs, we will tell you by email before it affects you, and the new price applies from your next renewal — never retroactively. You can cancel before then and pay nothing further.

Your content, and what we check

You keep ownership of what you submit — your titles, descriptions, thumbnails, username and avatar. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, resize and display that material for as long as needed to run the service and show your listing. That licence ends when the material is removed, except for copies we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

By submitting anything, you confirm that:

  • you have the rights to it, including the rights to any image you upload and to any name or likeness in it;
  • the link points to a stream you control or are authorised to promote;
  • it is not unlawful, deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or promoting self-harm or illegal activity;
  • it is not designed to mislead a viewer about what the stream is — including a thumbnail or title that misrepresents the content.

Automated checks

Text and images are checked by an automated classifier before they are published. Two things follow from that, and we would rather you knew them in advance:

  • A listing may be held for review rather than published immediately — including when the classifier is unavailable. We hold rather than publish, because publishing unchecked is the worse mistake.
  • Automated checks are imperfect in both directions. We may remove something the classifier passed, and we may hold something that was perfectly fine.

We may remove a listing, refuse a submission, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we remove a listing because of something we got wrong, we will say so and restore it where we can.

Things you must not do

Please do not:

  • interfere with the ranking other than by claiming a spot in the normal way — including using multiple accounts to list more than your share or to evade the cap in Listings and how placement works;
  • inflate impressions or clicks by any automated or artificial means;
  • scrape, crawl or copy the directory at scale, or resell access to it;
  • probe, load-test or attempt to bypass our security, rate limits or authentication;
  • list a stream that does not exist, or point a listing at something other than the stream it describes;
  • impersonate another creator, person or organisation;
  • use the service to break the law, or the terms of the platform your stream is hosted on.

If you find a security problem, we would genuinely rather hear from you than not: hello@whatslive.today. Please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else.

Other people's platforms and streams

Every listing links somewhere we do not control. When you click through, you leave What's Live and whatever happens next is between you and that platform, under their terms and their privacy policy.

We are not responsible for a stream's content, for whether it starts on time or at all, for a platform being down, or for anything a creator says or does on it. We do not verify creators' identities or their relationship with the platforms they list from.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service up but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may take the service down for maintenance.

If we make a change to these terms that materially affects you, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and — for creators with an account — tell you by email before it takes effect where we reasonably can. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change. A change never applies retroactively to a placement you have already bought.

Disclaimers and liability

Except where the law says otherwise, the service is provided “as is” and we make no warranties about it, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost audience or lost goodwill. Where we are liable, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the service is limited to US$50. The service is free, so there is no amount paid to measure it against.

None of this excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or under any consumer protection law that applies to you and gives you rights these terms cannot take away.

Ending your account

You can close your account at any time from Settings. Closure is scheduled rather than instant: for thirty days nothing is removed, and signing in during that window cancels it. After thirty days your profile, username and listings are erased.

Some records outlive the account. Aggregated counts that are no longer linked to you may remain, and anything we are required to keep by law is kept for as long as that requires. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to.

Disputes

Talk to us first

Most problems are quicker to solve by email than by anything else. Before starting formal proceedings, please write to hello@whatslive.today with what happened and what you would like done. We will do the same before bringing a claim against you. Give it 30 days.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, where the company is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or of the right to bring a claim in your local courts where that law gives it to you. For consumers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom in particular, nothing here overrides your home consumer rights.

If you are in the United States

Because most creators using What's Live are in the United States, disputes with US users are resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, on these terms:

  • Arbitration is administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Hearings are held by video, by telephone, or in the county where you live.
  • Small claims are excluded. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court instead, if it qualifies there.
  • Injunctions are excluded. Either of us may seek injunctive relief in court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
  • Individually, not as a class. Claims are brought in your own name. Neither of us may bring a class, collective or representative action, and an arbitrator may not consolidate claims without both sides agreeing. If this waiver is held unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim proceeds in court and the rest of this section still applies.
  • You can opt out. Within 30 days of first accepting these terms, email hello@whatslive.today with the subject “Arbitration Opt-Out” and your account email. Opting out costs you nothing and changes nothing else. If you opt out, disputes go to the courts named below.

This arbitration agreement does not apply to consumers in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, or anywhere else that pre-dispute consumer arbitration or a class-action waiver is unenforceable.

Everywhere else

Where arbitration does not apply, the courts of İstanbul (Anadolu), Türkiye have jurisdiction — subject to the consumer protection above.

Notices for US users

California

Under California Civil Code § 1789.3, California users are entitled to this notice: the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs may be reached in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.

What's Live is free to use, and Creator+ is an optional subscription that renews automatically until it is cancelled. California's automatic-renewal law applies to it, and so do the equivalent rules in the United Kingdom and the European Union. What they require is set out in Creator+ and payment: the price, the interval and the renewal are stated before you pay; you consent to them by subscribing; and you can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan and invoices, in the same number of clicks it took to start — without contacting us.

Third-party content

What's Live is a directory of streams published by other people on platforms we do not operate. Listings and the material in them are the creator's, not ours, and we do not adopt or endorse them.

Sanctions and export

You may not use What's Live if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or territory subject to comprehensive US, UK, EU or Turkish sanctions, or if you appear on a restricted-party list such as the US Treasury's SDN list. By using the service you confirm that neither is the case.
